Jane Smiley

Jane Smiley ( born September 26, 1949 in Los Angeles ) is an American author and Pulitzer Prize winner.

Smiley was born in Los Angeles and grew up in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, where they lived until the completion of high school. In 1971 she moved for a year to Europe, where he worked as an archaeologist and tour guide. She then studied at Vassar College and Iowa State University, among others Scandinavian languages ​​and folklore.
