Janet Margolin

Janet Margolin ( born July 25, 1943 in New York City; † 17 December 1993 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actress.

Life and career

Margolin studied in New York Performing Arts and earned a 18 -year-old in 1962, a Tony Award nomination for her portrayal of a mentally disturbed teenager in the Broadway stage play Daughter of Silence. This success led to Margolins film debut with a comparable role in Frank Perry's David and Lisa film drama, for which she was nominated for the 1963 Golden Globe Award for Best Young Actress.
