Jannik Hansen

Jannik Hansen ( born March 15, 1986 in Herlev ) is a Danish professional ice hockey player who stands since 2006 with the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League contract. His father Bent Hansen was also a professional hockey player.

Career

Jannik Hansen began his career as a hockey player in his native Denmark at Rødovre SIK, for which he was active in Super Ligaen 2002-2005. During this time he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in the ninth round in 2004 when a total of 287 players from the Vancouver Canucks. First, the attacker played in the 2005/06 season for the Portland Winter Hawks in the Canadian junior Western Hockey League before he was taken to the 2006/07 season in the squad of Vancouver's farm team Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.
