January Jones
January Kristen Jones ( born January 5, 1978 in Sioux Falls) is an American actress and a former model. She is best known for her roles in the television series Mad Men, and the teen comedy American Pie - The Wedding.
Life and career
January Jones was born on January 5, 1978 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It is named after the character January Wayne from the novel of the Once Is Not Enough by Jacqueline Susann.
At 18, Jones moved to New York City to model order.
Jones had supporting roles in films such as Love Actually ... (2003), Anger Management (2003) and Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights. In 2005, she starred in the movie Three Burials - The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, directed by Tommy Lee Jones one of the main roles. In 2008 she received for the part of the wife of Don Draper, played by Jon Hamm, in the television series Mad Men, was nominated for a Golden Globe Award.
On September 13, 2011 Jones brought in Santa Monica, California, a son.
