Janusz Turowski

Janusz Turowski ( born February 7, 1961 in Bydgoszcz, Poland ) is a retired Polish- German football player and coach.

The football games he learned in his hometown at Polonia Bydgoszcz and later at Zawisza Bydgoszcz. His first professional station in the first league was Legia Warsaw and later Pogoń Szczecin. In 1986, he sat down to Germany from and signed a contract with Eintracht Frankfurt, but could by a one-year ban due to his escape from Poland only in the second half of the season 1986/87 are used. In the Bundesliga since only two foreigners per team were allowed to be used, took Turowski, the German ancestors was able to prove that German citizenship. In Frankfurt he played five seasons long and won with the harmony 1988 DFB-Pokal. From 1991 to 1993 he played for two years at VfB Leipzig. After end of his career he was, inter alia, worked as a coach at FV Bad Vibel and SC 1912 Leinefelde.
