Japan Fed Cup team

The Japanese Fed Cup Team Tennis is the national team of Japan, which is used in the Fed Cup. The Fed Cup (until 1995 Federation Cup ) is the most important competition for national teams in women's tennis, similar to the Davis Cup for the men.


For the first time Japan took part in the 1964 Fed Cup. The best result was reaching the semifinals in 1996.
