Japan Post Service Co., Ltd.. (English, Japanese邮 便 事业 株式会社, Yubin Jigyo Kabushiki - gaisha ), in short: Nippon Yubin (日本 邮 便), is a Japanese postal, logistics and courier company with its headquarters in Chiyoda, Tokyo. It has in Japan a monopoly in the postal industry.

History

Japan Post Service was established on 1 October 2007 in connection with the preparation for the transformation of the public postal in a private company. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of JP Group.
