Jaqueline Carvalho

Jaqueline Maria Pereira de Carvalho ( born December 31, 1983 in Recife ) is a Brazilian volleyball player. She won the 2008 and 2012 Olympic gold medal.

Career

Carvalho started her career in 1997 in the offspring of the Sport Club Recife. Two years later she moved to Osasco Voleibol Clube. With the Brazilian junior she won the 2001 World Cup. 2003 and 2004, she was with Osasco Brazilian champion. The same success it achieved in the 2004/05 season with their new club, Rio de Janeiro VC. 2005 debuted the Außenangreiferin in the senior national team, with whom she won the Grand Prix and the South American Championship in the same year. 2006 succeeded the Brazilians to defend the title at the Grand Prix and the World Cup they reached the final. Then moved Carvalho in the Italian league to Giannino Pieralisi volley and was there in 2007 runner-up. With the national team she won in 2007 also second places at the Pan American Games and the World Cup. The following season, she played in Spain at CAV Murcia 2005 and was the club champion. Brazil traveled as a Grand Prix winner at the Olympic Games and won by a victory in the final against the United States the gold medal. After the tournament Carvalho returned to Italy and managed by Robur Sports Pesaro 2009, the domestic double of league and cup. Since the 2009/10 season she plays again at Osasco Voleibol Clube, who won the national championship in 2010. The national team was defeated in the same year at the Grand Prix and World Cup respectively in the final. 2011 Brazil finished second in the Grand Prix again, but won in the South American Championship. 2012 Carvalho was again Osasco national champion and was successful with the national team at the Pan American Games. In London Brazil defended - again in the final against the United States - the title at the Olympic Games in 2012.

Carvalho married on 22 October 2009 the national team Murilo Endres.
