Jarkko & Laura

Jarkko ja Laura (English: Jarkko and Laura ) is a Finnish Schlagerduo, composed of the singers Jarkko Antikainen and Laura Ruotsalo.

The duo was the mid-1960s actively and released singles with own songs and cover songs. As the winner of the Finnish preliminary decision, they were allowed to compete for their country at the Gran Premio de la Canción de euro vision 1969 in Madrid. With the hit Kuin silloin Ennen they reached the twelfth. Shortly after the competition they married. By 1972, appeared Singles of them, then Jarkko was working as a photographer. Laura remained active as a singer, was released in 2004 a solo album from her. Jarkko and Laura have rarely performances as a duo.
