Jaroslav Korbela

Jaroslav Korbela ( born May 20, 1957 in České Budějovice, Czechoslovakia ) is a former Czech ice hockey player.

Career

Jaroslav Korbela began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior section of TJ Motor České Budějovice, for the seniors team he 1977/78 his debut in the first league, the highest Czechoslovak league was in the season. Then he had to serve his military service and played in the 1979/80 season for the army sports club Dukla Trenčín ASVS. From 1980 to 1988, the attacker ran again for TJ Motor České Budějovice, before he ended his career at the age of 31 years.

Internationally

For Czechoslovakia Korbela participated in Sarajevo at the world championships in 1981 and 1982 and the 1984 Winter Olympics. In the 1981 World Cup, he won the bronze at the 1982 World Cup and 1984 Olympic Winter Games, the silver medal with his team.
