Jarrett Jack

Jarrett Matthew Jack ( born October 28, 1983 in Fort Washington, Maryland ) is an American professional basketball player. He plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA.

High School

Jack attended during his schooldays four different high schools, the DeMatha Catholic High School in Maryland, the St. Vincent Pallotti High School in Maryland, the Mt Zion Christian Academy in North Carolina and the Worcester Academy in Massachusetts.

College

From 2002, he attended Georgia Tech in Atlanta. In his second year he led the team with an average of 12.5 points and 5.1 assists per game in the NCAA Finals. The following year, Jack was able to increase his stats and scoring average 15.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.

NBA

After his third year at Georgia Tech, Jack announced for 2005 NBA Draft where he was selected as 22 players from the Denver Nuggets. That same evening he was traded in exchange with Linas Kleiza and Ricky Sanchez to the Portland Trail Blazers.

On 9 July 2008, he was traded along with Josh McRoberts and Brandon Rush for Ike Diogu and Jerryd Bayless to the Indiana Pacers.

On July 13, 2009 Jack signed a contract for four years and $ 20 million at the Toronto Raptors.

After two years with the Raptors, he was traded to the New Orleans Hornets. In his second year with the Hornets, he was after Chris Paul's move to the Los Angeles Clippers, starters and dropped 15.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game, Karrierebestwerte on.
