Jarrod Bannister

Jarrod Bannister ( born October 3, 1984 in Townsville ) is an Australian javelin thrower.

In 2006, he was sixth at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. At the World Athletics Championships 2007 in Osaka, he left in qualifying, and at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, he finished sixth.

In 2010 he was fourth at the Continental Cup in Split and won at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi. In the World Cup 2011 in Daegu, he was seventh in the 2012 Olympic Games in London, he failed in the first round.
