Jasmin Maurer

Jasmin Maurer ( born March 29, 1989 in Saarbrücken ) is a German politician of the Pirate Party Saarland. On February 5, 2012, she was elected to List No. 1 on the country's list of the Pirate Party for the regional elections in Saarland on 25 March 2012.

Life

Maurer studied after high school law at the University of Saarland and middle class economics at the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern. She broke off both courses and then began training for IT system clerk. Already during the election campaign for the parliamentary elections in 2009, she supported the Pirate Party and joined a little later into the National Association Saarland. On 30 October 2009 she was elected Vice Chairman of the State Executive Committee and released in 2010 as Jean Marc major state chairman from. In 2011 she was confirmed in office.

She entered as the top candidate on the state list of the Pirate Party to state election at the Saarland, 2012. On March 25, 2012, she was chosen over the national list of the Pirate Party of Deputies.

A year later, in June 2013, she leads the party back on as state chairman. They won a crucial vote against the former party deputy Thomas Brück.

In November 2013, it did not run again for the country's presidency. It was replaced by Michael Hilberer. She is now active in the arbitration.
