Jasmine Guy

Jasmine Guy ( born March 10, 1962 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American actress, singer and dancer.

Career

In 1981, she was at the age of 19 years a member of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and began in popular musicals such as Grease occur. In 1982, she made her television debut in the dance series Fame - Paths of Glory, in which she represented a dancer in a total of 10 episodes.

The final breakthrough came with the comedy series A Different World, in which she played from 1987 to 1993 the college student Whitley Gilbert Wayne.
