Jason Ballantine

Jason Ballantine (born 1970 ) is an Australian cutter.

Life

Ballantine began his career in the film business, first as an assistant editor in 1994. As such, he was in productions such as Babe (1995) and Hearts in Atlantis (2001) involved. From 1998 he is also active as an independent editor, first in television and short film productions. His first feature film was Wolf Creek in 2005, for which he was also nominated in the same year for an AFI Award.

In 2013 he was honored at the Film Critics Circle of Australia Awards. The Australian Screen Editors previously nominated him three times for an award.
