Jason Day (Golfer)

Jason Day (born 12 November 1987 in Beaudesert, Queensland ) is an Australian professional golfer. Day was born as the son of an Australian father and a Filipino mother. He is married and lives in Fort Worth, Texas.

Amateur career

He scored his first major success in 2000, when he won the Australian Junior Masters at the age of 13 years. As a result, he was able to finish twice a season as a First Place at the Australian Junior Order of Merit.

In the Queensland Open, he finished seventh and thus best amateur.

In the U.S., he was victorious in the class of boys 15 to 17 in age at the Callaway World Junior Championship in 2004 and in 2005 was second in the Porter Cup.

Professional career
