Jason Elliott

Jason Elliott ( born November 10, 1975 in Inuvik, Northwest Territories ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who played for the SC Bietigheim- Bissingen in the 2nd Bundesliga.

Career

Elliott began his career in the North American college hockey. He was drawn to 205th place in the eighth passage in the NHL Entry Draft in 1994 by the Detroit Red Wings. He then played in the Minor Leagues. In the 2001/2002 season, he was placed as third goalkeeper behind Dominik Hašek and Manny Legace during the Stanley Cup victory for the Detroit Red Wings. 2002/ 03 Elliott moved to Europe to TPS Turku in the Finnish SM- liiga. From there went finally in the German 2nd Bundesliga for EC Bad Nauheim. 2004/ 05 he moved to SC Bietigheim- Bissingen for whom he played until the 2006/07 season.
