Jason Everman

Jason Everman ( born August 16, 1967 in Kodiak, Alaska) is an American guitarist and bassist. He played with Nirvana and Soundgarden.

Everman in the 1980s and 1990s was a guitarist in various grunge bands. In 1989 he is listed as the second guitarist of Nirvana 's debut album Bleach and is also seen on the cover, although he is said to have recorded nothing for the album. Later he played as a substitute for bassist Hiro Yamamoto for Louder Than Love - tour of 1989/90 with Soundgarden and was subsequently replaced by Ben Shepherd. In 1992 he played bass on the album Lo Flux Tube of Grindcore-/Industrial-Metal-Band OLD. Finally, in 1993 he took over as guitarist with the crossover group Mind Funk Album Dropped on, but left the band a short time later. Everman left mid-1990s the music business around 1994 to join the U.S. military. It was used in the 75th Ranger Regiment of the 2nd Battalion and later with the U.S. Special Forces. After retiring from the military, he began studying at Columbia University, from which he graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts.
