Jason Gould

Jason Gould ( born December 29, 1966 in New York City as Jason Emanuel Goldstein ) is an American actor, singer, director, screenwriter and film producer.

Life and achievements

Jason Gould is the son of actor Barbra Streisand and Elliott Gould. He played his first major role alongside John Cusack and Ione Skye in Say Anything Movie Drama (1989). In the comedy The Big Picture (1989 ), he starred opposite Kevin Bacon, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Teri Hatcher. In the movie The Prince of Tides, he played the role of Bernard Woodruff, the son of Susan Lowenstein, who played Barbra Streisand.

When partially autobiographical and self-produced short film Inside Out ( 1997), he wrote the screenplay, directed and starred alongside Alexis Arquette, Elliott Gould and Jordan Ladd himself with. He plays the role of Aaron, a son of famous parents, who is pursued by paparazzi and outed by tabloids. Then he finds in a support group for children of well-known people solace, turns further Scientology before he dealt with it, to lay a radical striptease for the press. The film was re- released in 2000 as part of the episode movie Boys Life 3.

Gould lived has always been openly gay and was around 1991 around outed by a tabloid newspaper with a fictional story about an alleged marriage to a male model, he had already denied by phone. The fact that the newspaper could not really be prosecuted and how they manipulated him, shocked him deeply, so he largely withdrew from public life.
