Jason Mbote

Jason Mbote (born 5 January 1977) is a Kenyan marathon runner.

In 2003, he won the 25 kilometers from Berlin. Making its debut on the 42,195 -km distance he came in 2004 at the Berlin Marathon on the 17th place in 2:13:42 h In the following year he improved as the Second Frankfurt Marathon in 2:08:30 h in 2006 he was subsequently winner of the Seoul International Marathon, as the first place winner Gert Thys was disqualified for a positive drug test, and put the JoongAng Seoul Marathon with 2:08:13 a course record.

In 2007 he was fifth at the Seoul International Marathon and sixth at the Amsterdam Marathon. In 2008 he presented as second in the Seoul International Marathon in 2:07:37 with his personal record. In 2009 he was at the same place fourth.
