Jason Morgan (ice hockey)

Jason Morgan ( born October 9, 1976 in St. John's, Newfoundland ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who plays since 2011 at the Stockton Thunder in the ECHL.

Career

Morgan began his career with the Kitchener Rangers in the Ontario Hockey League and made his debut in the 1996/97 season with the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League, of which he had been drafted in 1995. In the following years he moved between many teams in the minor leagues of North America and was in the 2000/01 season with the Saint John Flames, which he was only thrust into the playoffs, celebrate after winning the Calder Cup its biggest success. In the following years he saw many changes and completed a few missions in the NHL. In 2008, he ventured for the first time to move to Europe and completed a season with Sodertalje SK in the Swedish Elitserien, but where he could not convince. So he returned the following year in the American Hockey League back but was taken after only four games out of the active cadres of the Springfield Falcons and finally signed a contract with the Austrian first division club EC KAC, where he tormented as a reinforcement for the hurt of many players team should act. His contract was not renewed due to lack of power after the season. The season 2010/11 he spent the Norwegian first division Stjernen, in which Morgan served as an assistant captain. For the following season, he was obliged by the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL.
