Jason Ricci
Jason Ricci ( born February 3, 1974) is an American harmonica player and singer.
Biography
Ricci grew up in Portland, Maine. His musical career began at age 14 in a punk band. After discovering the love of the blues and the harmonica, he moved to Memphis, Tennessee. Here he fell into drugs, had a year in prison, but according to his own statements since then clean. After he and performing with RL Burnside in other bands, he founded in 2002 his own band, Jason Ricci and New Blood. In 2010, the band broke up. Since then he has lived in New Orleans and occurs there with John Lisi & Delta Funk! on.
