Jason Sudeikis
Daniel Jason Sudeikis ( born September 18, 1975 in Fairfax, Virginia ) is an American actor and comedian.
Life and career
Jason Sudeikis was born in September 1975 in Fairfax, Virginia and grew up with two sisters in Overland Park, Kansas, where he made his 1994 high school graduation at the Shawnee Mission West High School. His paternal ancestors came from Lithuania, maternal he is German and Irish descent. His uncle, his mother's brother is the actor George Wendt, known for his role as " Norm Peterson " in Cheers.
At the beginning of his career in the 1990s had Sudeikis minor roles as a comedian and a supporting role in the TV movie Alien Avengers II ( 1998). In 2003 he was hired as a comedy writer for Saturday Night Live (SNL ) and took occasional extras roles in the show. Later he also received larger roles in the skits and since 2006 he is a permanent member of the comedy ensemble. Parallel to his work at SNL turns Sudeikis, since 2007, cinema films, including Semi-Pro, What Happens in Vegas (both 2008), The Bounty Hunter (2010) with Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler, and Hall Pass - A week without rules (2011 ) to alongside Owen Wilson.
In addition Sudeikis played from 2007 to 2010 in a recurring role in 30 Rock. In 2004 he married the actress Kay Cannon; They were divorced in 2010. From July 2010 to January 2011, he was romantically involved with actress January Jones. Since the end of 2011 Sudeikis and actress Olivia Wilde are a couple.
On 5 June 2011, he hosted the MTV Movie Awards.
