Jaume Bartumeu

Jaume Bartumeu Cassany ( born November 10, 1954 in Andorra la Vella ) is an Andorran politician and lawyer.

Life

2000 belonged Cassany of the founding members of the party Partit Socialdemòcrata whose he chaired from 2000 to 2004. Cassany was since June 5, 2009 Head of Government of Andorra. After Jaume Bartumeu Cassany February 2011 had found no majority in Parliament for his budget and the introduction of income tax, 2011 early parliamentary elections in Andorra were held on April 3. This lost the Socialists and the Liberals Antoni Martí Petit became successor Jaume Bartumeu Cassanys.
