Javorina
Javorina in Okres Kežmarok ( Prešov kraj ) was a community founded on 1 January 1953 as a military training camp and military base in eastern Slovakia. In 1980, she officially had 2 inhabitants, in 2004 no more.
The area is in the mountains Levočské (Slovak Levočské Hills ) and is named after the mountain Javorina ( German knee flexors ), which lies within the site, named.
The municipality was created in 1953 by merging the following municipalities:
- Blazov
- Dvorce ( German Buergerhof )
- Ruskinovce ( German Rißdorf )
- Ľubické Kúpele ( one only three years earlier (1950 ) from Ľubica outsourced community)
And by slamming parts of 19 other municipalities. The community had organized an area of 316.236 km ² and was in five Katastralgemeinden.

The use as a military training camp officially ended on 31 December 2005, the military base was terminated, however, until 1 January 2011. The area was divided between 16 municipalities, which also the area of the Okresy Kežmarok, Stará Ľubovňa, Sabinov and Levoča has changed. The previously planned re-establishment of community Ľubické Kúpele did not take place.
