Jay C. Flippen
Jay C. Flippen ( born March 6, 1899 in Little Rock, Arkansas; † February 3, 1971 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actor.
Life
Jay C. Flippen stood at 16 for the first time on a vaudeville stage with Al Jolson. In 1920 he made his debut on Broadway. When he came to film in the 1930s, he was already an accomplished stage actor and radio presenter. Noticed it is mainly caused by some notable supporting roles in Westerns and crime films of the 1950s, where he seemed mainly specialized in the role of a sheriff. Jay C. Flippen was married flick from 1947 until his death with the screenwriter Ruth Brooks.
