Jay Harrison

Jay Harrison ( born November 3, 1982 in Oshawa, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player standing since 2009 with the Carolina Hurricanes in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Jay Harrison began his career as a hockey player with the Brampton Battalion for which he was active from 1998 to 2002 in the Ontario Hockey League. During this time he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2001 in the third round than a total of 82 players from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Then the defender played three seasons for the farm teams of the American Hockey League, the St. John 's Maple Leafs and Toronto Marlies. Here, Harrison graduated between 2005 and 2007 and 13 games for the Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League.

However, for the 2008/09 season the right shooter moved to Europe to EV train from the Swiss National League A, she finished with his former club Toronto Maple Leafs, for whom he completed seven more games in the NHL, where he gave a presentation. On 9 July 2009 Harrison received a two-year contract with the Carolina Hurricanes, which is valid both for the NHL, and for the AHL.

Internationally

For Canada, Harrison took part in the U20 World Junior Championships in 2001 and 2002.
