Jay J. Armes

Jay J. Armes ( born August 12, 1932 in Ysleta, Texas; actually Julian Armas ) is an American private investigator.

At the age of twelve he lost both hands in a dynamite explosion. In their place he now bears two controllable hook. He decided, in spite of his disability to become a private investigator. In the 1970s he was well known, an action figure was designed by him. For a time he was considered one of the most successful private investigators in the world. He appeared in several television series with so Mannix and Hawaii Five-O, and 1993 should even get his own series, which was never realized.

Among the acts attributed to him include the discovery and liberation of the kidnapped child of Marlon Brando.
