Jay Simpson

Jay- Alistaire Frederick Simpson ( born December 1, 1988 in Enfield ) is an English footballer. From 2006 to 2010 was the striker in the extended squad of the English first division club FC Arsenal. Most recently, he was at Hull City under contract.
Career
Association
At the age of nine years, Simpson came into the youth academy of Arsenal FC. After training in the youth teams of the club, the attacker slipped to 2006/07 season in the reserve squad of the capital club. A little later, Arsène Wenger called him into the first team. On October 14, 2006 Simpson sat during the League Cup against West Bromwich Albion for the first time on the bench of the Gunners. In order to give him match practice, decided the club managers at the start of season 2007/ 08 to give the talented offensive player of the FC Millwall. His debut Simpson was there on 1 September 2008 in a 2-1 win over Huddersfield Town. Four days later, he scored in the competition for the Football League Trophy his first goal for Millwall. In the same month, on 29 September, he scored his first goal in the Football League One, the third- highest league in England. For winter break his contract was due to expire. Both clubs, however, agreed to an extension until end of the season. In 44 games for Millwall Simpson scored eight goals and was developed by the fans for "PFA Fans ' League One Player of the Year " for the year within the League One player, chosen. In retrospect, Simpson saw his loan to Millwall a good decision and personal development. Also, the Arsenal manager watched the offensive player and made him after his return to London hope for the Premier League side. His debut for the first team gave Simpson then a 6-0 victory in the League Cup against Sheffield United. He was substituted in the 71st minute for Nicklas Bendtner. On 11 November 2008, he was also in the League Cup for the first time in the starting lineup of the Gunners against Wigan Athletic. In the same batch Simpsons scored his first two goals for Arsenal. On 29 December 2008, the club extended to him. Nevertheless, he was loaned to league rival West Bromwich Albion. On January 3, 2009 in the third round of the FA Cup, gave the striker his debut for the Baggies. At half-time he appeared as a substitute in comparison with Peterborough United vs Robert Koren. In the replay, on January 13, Simpson scored his first goal for West Bromwich. His first goal in the Premier League made the young talent on January 31 against Hull City.
In August 2009 he joined for an entire season on loan at second division Queens Park Rangers. He scored on his third deployment 19 September 2009 in the 2-0 league win away against Cardiff City the first two goals for the new club. Overall, he scored 12 goals for the club in 39 league games.
Since August 19, 2010 Jay Simpson plays for Hull City in the Football League Championship. On 31 August 2011, he joined on loan to FC Millwall.

Simpson came several times for English U -17 and U-18 selection team used.
