Jay Tavare
Jay Tavare ( born June 18, 1968 in the Navajo Nation Reservation, Arizona, United States) is an American actor of Indian descent from the people of the Western Apache. His mother is a member of the White Mountain Apache ( Dzil Łigai Si'an NDAU - ' People of the White Mountains '), a group of Western Apaches and his father is the Navajo, however, since both peoples matrilolal (the man pulls at the wedding to the family of his wife and her estate) and matrilineal ( descent is through the woman's family determined ) were socially organized, it is therefore true that Jay Tavare social ancestrally is a Western Apache and Navajo no.
Besides his work as an actor, he is committed to the support of the Indians in American reservations.
