Jayawijaya Mountains in the western part of New Guinea

The Jayawijaya Mountains, also known as Jaya Wijaya or Djajawidjajagebirge, is a mountain range in the western half of New Guinea. It is located in the province of Papua in Indonesia. The Jayawijaya Mountains form the eastern part of Maokegebirges. The highest mountains of the mountain range are Puncak TRIKORA ( 4730 m) and Puncak Mandala ( 4640 m).
