Jaycee Carroll
Jaycee Don Carroll ( born April 16, 1983 in Laramie (Wyoming) ) is an American professional basketball player. He plays the position of shooting guards. Caroll was 2012, the Azerbaijani citizenship.
Career
Jaycee Carroll began his career in the Evanston High School in Evanston (Wyoming). After graduating, he spent two years as a Mormon missionary in Chile. From 2004 to 2008 he played for the Utah State Aggies in the Big West Conference (2004/ 05 ) and the Western Athletic Conference (2005-2008 ) of the NCAA. Although he was very successful during his college years and was named to the Big West Conference, among others Freshman of the Year 2004 /05 as well as the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year 2007/ 08, no team selected him in the NBA Draft 2008.
Then Carroll joined the Italian Lega Basket Serie A, where he completed his first season as a professional at Banca Tercas Teramo. He then signed for the Spanish side of Gran Canaria in 2014. Both the 2009/10 season and 2010/11, he finished with 19 and 19.6 points per game as a scorer of the championship. In his last season in the Canary Islands, he was also elected as the best shooting guard in the All- Tournament team in the league. For the 2011/12 season Carroll moved to Real Madrid. Already in his first season, Carroll was able to conquer the trophy. At the beginning of the 2012/13 season followed winning the Spanish Super Cups, he also reached the final of the Euro Real Madrid League and ended the year with a victory in the championship.

Jaycee Carroll was awarded in 2012 the Azerbaijani citizenship and denied in the same year with the national team to qualify for the European Championship 2013.
