Jayma Mays
Jayma Suzette Mays (born 16 July 1979, Grundy, Virginia ) is an American actress.
Career
After Mays had completed her degree in Performing Arts at Radford University, she made her television debut in 2004 in the U.S. sitcom Joey. Further guest appearances in series such as House MD, Six Feet Under - Died always, Entourage, Pamela Anderson in: Stacked, How I Met Your Mother, Ghost Whisperer - Ghost Whisperer, Pushing Daisies and Ugly Betty ( Ugly Betty ) followed. From 2006 to 2009 she played the recurring role of Charlie Andrews in the series Heroes. In the movies she appeared in, among others, Blind Dating, Epic Movie, Red Eye, Flags of Our Fathers and The Mall Cop.
Since 2009, Mays plays in the award-winning U.S. television series Glee, the guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury mysophobische. After she has been a leading actress in the first three seasons, she was at the beginning of the fourth season in a recurring supporting actress. In 2011 she starred opposite Neil Patrick Harris as Grace Winslow in the movie The Smurfs again on the big screen. They took over this role in the sequel film The Smurfs 2 Since October 2013, it is seen as Will Arnett's sister Debbie on the CBS comedy series The Millers. It replaced while Mary Elizabeth Ellis, who had played the role in the pilot episode.
Private
During the filming of Fantastic Movie Mays learned the British fellow actor Adam Campbell know. The couple has been married since October 2007.
