Jayne Meadows

Jayne Meadows ( born September 27, 1920 in Wuchang, China, and as Jayne Cotter ) is an American actress.

She gave in 1946 on the side of Katharine Hepburn in The unknown lover her film debut. A year later she was seen in The Lady in the Lake and as a partner of William Powell and Myrna Loy in The Song of the Thin Man. From the early 1950s, the actress appeared almost exclusively in television series such as Murder She Wrote, Hotel or Love Boat on.

Jayne Meadows was married from 1954 until his death in 2000 with the actor Steve Allen. The couple had a child together. Her sister was the actress Audrey Meadows.

Meadows now lives retired in Encino, California.
