Jean-Bernard Lévy

Jean -Bernard Lévy ( born March 18, 1955 in Suresnes, Paris ) is a French manager and engineer.

Life

Lévy is the son of a doctor and attended the Lycée Pasteur in Neuilly- sur -Seine. He studied engineering at the Ecole Polytechnique and Telecom ParisTech on in Paris. After his studies he worked from 1979 for France Télécom in Angers. From 1986 he worked for Posts and Telecommunications as a technical adviser under Secretary Gerard Longuet in the French Ministry. Lévy since 2009, Chairman of the French company, Activision Blizzard. His chairmanship of the French company Vivendi, which he occupied as CEO since 2002, he resigned after disputes with the Company's Board in June 2012. Since December 2012, he leads the French global company Thales.
