Jean Berveiller

Jean Marie Berveiller (* 1904, † 21 October 1976 ) was a French organist and composer.

Jean Berveiller studied organ with Marcel Dupré. He wrote four jazz -inspired organ works: Suite (1947 ), Cadence: Étude de concert, epitaphs (1951 ), and Mouvement ( 1953). All these compositions are dedicated to Jeanne Demessieux that Berveillers organ works played regularly in their concerts. Jean Berveiller is the dedicatee of Jeanne Demessieux ' organ cycle " Sept Méditations sur le Saint -Esprit " opus 6
