The Stade Jean Bouin - is a football stadium in Angers, capital of the department of Maine -et -Loire in the Pays de la Loire, France. It is used by the SCO Angers as a venue. Opened in 1912, it was named under the name Stade Bessonneau after the French industrialist and former mayor of Maine -et -Loire Julien Bessonneau. 1925, it was renovated and got its present name after athlete Jean Bouin. The next renovation took place in 1957. One removed the athletics track around the field and the first grandstand Saint Leonard was built. Now, it has space for more than 21,000 spectators.
