Jean Boyer (director)

Jean Boyer ( born June 26, 1901 in Paris, † March 10, 1965 ibid ) was a French film director and screenwriter.

The son of cabaret singer Lucien Boyer began in the early 1930s, his career as a screenwriter and director. He realized in his lifetime more than seventy most successful entertainment films, including Miquette, the last film with Lilian Harvey and Le Trou Normand, in the 1952 Brigitte Bardot debuted. He also wrote chanson texts to several music films. He produced some of his films and himself (including hairdressing pour dames, 1952).
