Jean Byron

Jean Byron (* as Imogene Burkhardt on December 10, 1926 in Paducah, Kentucky; † 3 February 2006) was an American actress.

Jean Byron began her career in 1952 with the lead role in the film Voodoo Tiger alongside Johnny Weissmuller. After two more films - most famously Serpent of the Nile (1953, Serpent of the Nile by William Castle), in which she played the servant of Cleopatra ( Rhonda Fleming ). Since the mid-1950s, she appeared mainly in television series, including in Fury, 77 Sunset Strip and Batman. Her most famous role was that of Natalie Lane in The Patty Duke Show since 1963. After 1975, Byron went on the film to work on two short exceptions back.

Byron's marriage to actor Michael Ansara remained childless and ended in divorce in 1956.
