Jean-Christophe Simond

Jean -Christophe Simond ( born April 29, 1960 in Les Contamines -Montjoie ) is a former French figure skater who started in a single run.

The eight-time French champion in 1981 and 1982 Vice European Champion, once behind Igor Bobrin and once behind Norbert Schramm. His best finish at the World Championships was 5th place, which he achieved three times in a row from 1981 to 1983. Simond took three times participate in the Olympics in 1976 in Innsbruck, he was 15, in 1980 in Lake Placid seventh and sixth in Sarajevo in 1984. During his career, he was known for his strength in the compulsory figures.

Simond coached Brian Joubert von 2006 to 2009.
