Jean-Christophe Victor

Jean -Christophe Victor ( * May 30, 1947 ) is a French political scientist and television presenter. He hosts the show " with open cards" on ARTE.

Jean -Christophe Victor is the son of the French ethnologist and Arctic explorer Paul- Emile Victor. He has his doctorate because of a submitted dissertation on anthropology from the Institut national des langues et civilizations orientales ( INALCO ). In addition, he studied political science. He worked for the French Foreign Ministry in analysis and forecasting center.

In 1989 he founded the Lepac ( Laboratoire d' études politiques et cartographiques ) and a company for the production of geo-strategic studies. Since 1990 he has presented for the channel ARTE and La Sept the show " with open cards ".
