Jean-Daniel Pollet

Jean -Daniel Pollet ( born June 20, 1936 in La Madeleine, Nord-Pas -de- Calais; † 9 September 2004 in Cadenet, Vaucluse ) was a French film director and screenwriter.

Life

Pollet began his film career in 1958 with the short film Pourvu qu'on ait l' ivresse ... he turned Paris. In 1989 he was hit by a train, he wanted to film and was paralyzed ever since. He was due to the paralysis, only two films turn Dieu sait quoi and Ceux d' en face, both in his hometown of Cadenet. After his health continued to deteriorate and he retired to his country house. There he photographed his surroundings. For these photos and own recordings his friend Jean -Paul Fargier created the film Jour après jour.
