Jean-Daniel Raulet

Jean -Daniel Raulet ( born March 24, 1946) is a French former racing driver.

Jean -Daniel Raulet began his career in the early 1970s in touring car racing. In 1974, he came three times in the score at the 24 - hour race at Spa-Francorchamps. On a Datsun Cherry 120A was in it as a driver of three teams, 24th, 26th and 28th in the overall standings. Also in 1975 and 1976 he was at Spa at the start; 1976 at the wheel of a Fiat 128 In the same year he played a full season in the French Formula Renault Championship, where he finished third in the overall standings.

In 1977 he was works driver at Welter Racing and denied for the small French sports car team of Gérard Welter until the end of the 1980s almost all races, for that had reported the team. From 1977 to 1991 he was fourteen times in the 24- hour race at Le Mans at the start, including three times for Welter Racing. His best finish was the eleventh place overall in 1980, when he was together with Max Mamers eleventh in the overall standings. His best result in the World Sportscar Championship was the sixth place overall in the 1000 km race at Monza in 1982, which he imports with Roger Dorchy and Guy Fréquelin on a WM P82.
