Jean de Lastic

Fra ' Jean de Lastic Bompar, also Ioannes Lasticensis, John de Lastico, (* 1371 in Auvergne, † May 19, 1454 ) was from November 6, 1437 until his death in 1454 the 36th Grand Master of the Knights Hospitaller.

He was inducted into the Order before 1390 and spent the first years of the Order in Rhodes and priories in the Auvergne, before he became Grand Prior of the tongue of Auvergne, based in Bourganeuf. Under him there, done massive fortress expansions.
