Jean Echenoz

Jean Echenoz ( born December 26, 1947 in Orange ) is a French writer.

Jean Echenoz studied sociology and construction. He became internationally known for his novel I'm going now, for which he was awarded the Prix Goncourt in 1999. His novel received the Prix Médicis Cherokee.

Echenoz lived in Paris since 1970. He was married to the German writer and translator Anne Weber.
