Jean Graczyk

Jean Graczyk ( born May 26, 1933, Neuvy -sur- Barangeon; † 27 June 2004, Vierzon ) was a French cyclist.

Graczyk celebrated his first success in 1955 with the profit of the cycling race Paris - Vierzon. In 1956 he became French Straßenradmeister and champion in the team pursuit. In 1956 he started at the Olympic Games in Melbourne and won Silver Team Pursuit, with Jean -Claude Lecante, Michel Vermeulin and René Bianchi.

1957 was Graczyk on his amateur status and joined the team Helyett - Potin. Here he won twice, 1958 and 1960, the Tour de France green jersey of best sprinter point. Overall, he recorded five stage wins.

Also at the Vuelta a España Graczyk was successful there celebrated 1958-1962 also five stage wins.

Overall, he won 65 individual races in his career.
