Jean Grelaud

Jean Grelaud ( born October 26, 1898 in Paris, † February 25, 2007 in Paris) was one of the last surviving French veterans of the First World War. He was 108 years old.

Grelaud was mobilized in 1917 and was an infantry brigade in the department of Aisne allocated. He fought in the Battle of the Aisne. Grelaud also took part in the Second World War, but he refused all his life to reveal photos or other details of his life.

The last French veteran - Lazare Ponticelli, ( born December 7, 1897) - passed away on 12 March 2008.
