Jean Hagen

Jean Hagen ( born August 3, 1923 as Jean Shirley Verhagen in Chicago, Illinois; † August 29, 1977 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actress.

Life

She was the daughter of Marie and Christian Verhagen. After graduating from Elkhart High School, she studied acting and worked part-time as an usher in the theater. In 1949 she made ​​her film debut opposite Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy in the film Adam's Rib.
