Jean IV. de Bueil

Jean IV († October 25, 1415 at the Battle of Agincourt ) was Lord of Bueil -en- Touraine. He was the son of Jean III. de Bueil out of the house Bueil.

Jean IV was one of the friends and advisers of Louis I, Duke of Anjou. He was Lieutenant-General of Guyenne and in 1395 commander of the crossbowmen ( Maître the Arbalétriers ) of the French army.

He married Margarete Dauphine of Auvergne in 1404, the youngest daughter of Berald II Dauphin of Auvergne, Lady of Aubijoux, † after January 30, 1413 was the heiress of the county of Sancerre.

His son, Jean V. de Bueil († 1477 ), Count of Sancerre and Admiral of France; his daughter, Anne de Bueil, wife of Pierre d' Amboise.
