Jean-Marie Demange

Jean -Marie Demange (* July 23, 1943, † November 17, 2008 in Thionville in the département of Moselle) was a French politician and since 1986 a deputy in the National Assembly. He was a member of the UMP.

On 17 November 2008 he shot his lover after a quarrel in their house in Thionville. He then shot himself Demange, who was going through a divorce, had eight months earlier lost the election for mayor of Thionville against the Socialists Bertrand Mertz. The Office of the Mayor had Demange 1995 to March 2008, serving.

After his death the politician Anne Grommerch moved according to the National Assembly for him.
